BAL: 8:45 SP feat Helleno
The night wouldn't have the same charm without its mysteries. Transitioning between moments and feelings that only this time can evoke, BAL presents "8:45 SP." The single is a collaboration with the singer Helleno, debuting with an exclusive music video and is released by the label Cavaca Records.
In "8:45 SP," BAL draws inspiration from the fascination of nighttime habits to tell the story of a night that defies social conventions and lasts exactly 12 hours, starting at 8:45 PM and going until 8:45 AM.
"It harks back to the universe of a developing metropolis that is gaining increasing international visibility, where adrenaline sports, parties, and solitude are a reality that I try to transform into something dreamlike," explains BAL.
When asked about musical influences, she mentions big names in pop like Madonna, Cher, and Prince, newer names like Jessie Ware, and famous alternates like LCD Soundsystem, Primal Scream, and Daft Punk. "It's a pop medley about a cosmopolitan night," says BAL.
For this debut, BAL continues on the fashion-forward aesthetic journey that began in 2021 with the single "Little Boys".
