Freaky Farm: "Godlike"
“Godlike”, the third single by Freaky Farm, completes the "nature" trilogy which began last May with Diviner and was followed by Biokarma in September. A characteristic of Godlike is the trip hop influence featuring clearly both in the vocals and in the percussion. The snare drum in Godlike is the most striking example of this influence.
For the first time since the beginning of the project, the new videoclip features an archaic and mysterious human presence, an unmistakable reference to our species.
This is a sign that Freaky Farm is moving in a new direction and the second Trilogy that takes off in March will be inspired by subjective emotions rather than by the objectivity of mother nature alone, whilst still maintaining a close tie which will never be entirely broken.
Godlike reflects the unique character of Freaky Farm: chameleonic and unconventional, with its own personal and unique style, a direction the project intends to take without delay.
