GR3YWXLF: "Drip"
Fresh from the lab with another poignant drop, GR3YWXLF returns with “Drip”. An energetic alternative piece underpinned by the current political discourse.
Following the small success of his previous release the villain extraordinaire GR3YWXLF returns with “Drip”, his seventh independent drop of the year. Blending hip hop and small lofi elements supported by a unique almost antagonistic flow, efficiently partnered with a hard hitting instrumental (produced by James, Jacob Alder). Quite unlike the traditional London sound you may be familiar with hearing. Fans of Earl Sweatshirt and Kendrick Lamar will feel quite at home with this one weighing in on issues of self worth, woke stance and political agenda.
Managing all things independently, GR3YWXLF has been carving his unique brand of supervillainy into the London woodwork. Posturing himself as an artist to be mindful of comfortably dwelling on the alternative hip hop fringes. With support from publications Elevator Mag, ChillFiltr and DOPECAUSEWESAID alongside airplay from BBC Introducing.
