Happy Freuds: "Echo of Sounds"
Happy Freuds are a young, multinational rock band from Javea, Spain.
They play a decidedly analogue & authentic style of rock informed by the 70's, 90's and beyond into experimental territory. Recordings are approached in an old-school, live in the studio style. Music is intentionally produced with a minimum of overdubs or fixes, with the aim being moreso 'Crazy Horse or Nirvana as opposed to Bon Jovi.'
At the ages of 17 & 14, Swedish brothers Teo and Victor Holmstrom (lead guitar/vocals and drums) created the band with Jack Hunter (English) on Bass & lead vocals together with Sergio Canadas (Spanish) on second guitar. Between school, University and work, they've been doing the gig-circuit around the marina alta since summer 2016 with some 50+ full length concerts all over including festivals.
A different band playing the bar and small venue circuit by intentionally NOT doing the obvious crowd pleasing numbers or entertain as background music. Loud & proud and a very energetic live band.
Happy Freuds play an eclectic mix of original material, rearrangements of works from others and selected, less known, classic rock. Very dynamic, mostly loud (unless it’s the unplugged show) and an energetic performance. Having amassed some 50+ gigs over the last year in combination with arranging and running a number of festival events for charitable causes gained the band experience to be confident, structured and professional towards any event.
They released their self-produced, unsigned debut album, January 31st 2019, entitled ECHO OF SOUNDS.
