Illegalsoul Leaves a Message: "Call Me Back"

Illegalsoul has just left a message: “Call Me Back” is the refrain to his new single and video, a Spanish-language romantic rap over a haunting groove starting with guitar and slowly layering in synth and bass over a trap beat. The rather monotone vocals of the refrain could be a bit more melodic, but they fit the mood , and the rap verses are solid. I was left with a brooding feeling as I listened but nevertheless caught myself bobbing to the groove of the verses.

D. Sanchez, aka Illegalsoul was born in 1984. He started with the passion for the guitar where he learned to play flamenco. But at the age of 17, his passion made a 180° turn to Rap. Illegalsoul stands for revolution in music combining modern Hip Hop, Trap, and Lo-fi. He is currently working on his next album that will be released at the end of 2019.
