JIGI: "Welcome (I Miss You)"

JIGI: "Welcome (I Miss You)"

JIGI’S story began in a Tower Records store at the year of 2000, he was 8 years old and without apparent reason something attracted him to grab a CD with a strange blue and orange cover. After he pressed play on the CD player, he got from his mom for his birthday his life has changed. “Around The World” by Red Hot Chili Peppers was exploding in his ears and from that moment he knew that his life goal is to make people feel the same way he did that day.

20 years later, JIGI has moved to Tel-Aviv to fulfill his dream after he finished recording his debut album “IM OK” which he has been working on for 6 years.

If The Strokes, Lana Del Ray and Kanye West would have a child it could have been JIGI’s album. Within 40 minutes JIGI takes us to a journey inside his soul with kicking songs that sounds great in high volume next to soft cosmic ballads on the other side. The album features drum machines next to string instruments, distorted guitars, shimmering synths and great drum parts.

Today, JIGI focuses on being the opening act for Red Hot Chili Peppers at June 10th in “Hayarkon” park and promoting his album.
