Asgard Raven: What Will Be, Will Be
Asgard Raven's latest single What Will Be, Will Be has his trademark Britpop feel to it with a fairly heavy indie rock twist, has been released through London based label The Animal Farm. Along with songwriter Joe the track features Marc Burford and new drummer Nathan Read, with a cameo appearance from Joe’s son, Sam.
At some point in our lives we all have a moment of reflection on what we’ve achieved and what we have yet to accomplish. This song is about that switch from passive living to active pursuit of our dreams, and the desire to enjoy every moment of whatever time we have in this world.
Asgard Raven is an Indie-rock artist from the south of England, UK who has gained support from Radio X, BBC, Amazing Radio and a host of other great stations and blogs around the world.
Producing songs born from experiences during deployments in the Army, Joe (singer and songwriter) draws on many influences including punk, rock, blues and indie music, he produces a unique landscape of sound reminiscent of early 90s Britpop and rock records.
Asgard Ravens' music is recorded at Sunrise Sound Studio in Hampshire, produced by lead guitarist Marc Burford, with the final mix done by Mat Leppanen at Animal Farm’s studio in London.
Asgard Raven’s first single ‘Until another day’ was released in 2021, followed by Rollercoaster in 2022. New music is scheduled throughout 2024, so far including Light of My Life in January, For Us All in March, Chasing Your Dreams in May, and Tranquility in July.
