BLVFF: "Want for Nothing"
Coventry based Indie/Rock band BLVFF have released their next single ‘Want for Nothing’ today.
Talking influence from Humbug early Arctic Monkeys mixed with Indie underdogs The Amazons, Want for Nothing portrays the bands approach to stadium sized indie rock whilst maintaining the strong songwriting abilities which has seen the band surpass 100,000 streams collectively over their first three singles.
The end of November saw BLVFF locked away at Vada Studios with Producer Matt Terry (The Enemy & Ocean Colour Scene) & Mix Engineer George Perks (Circa Waves, Rats, The Clause). The track opens with a gritty guitar riff followed by a passionate vocal performance from frontman Michael McCann. Speaking about the track McCann explains “The song is based on mind games that often come before love, the misconceptions that follow when chasing a bad love conquest & succumbing at all costs. Being someone’s someone in vain, knowing it will go wrong and that you never wanted any of this”. Throughout, Want for Nothing offers a power punch of energy and emotion, continuing BLVFF’s signature anthemic sound.
Post Covid-19 will see BLVFF play a special headline show in their hometown of Coventry in association with ‘Zone Heroes’ This Feeling, as well as a handful of dates across the UK. Keep up to date with everything BLVFF on the following social media pages
