DdidThat x Tim Rose: "Loyalty"
Funk/soul music artist, producer, and songwriter Tim Rose and R&B and multi-instrumentalist DDidThat (Darien Newton) have released a new single entitled “Loyalty” which is the duo’s third collaboration as part of a series of reflective, funk-inspired lofi hip-hop tracks to ease your troubles and offer you simple meditations on life.
Darien said “Loyalty” is about staying loyal in a relationship, particularly with the widespread use of social media. “As Tim and I journey in the van, we spark up a conversation about what it means to stay loyal. The saxophone is usually an instrument of love. It adds to the theme of love in the track.”
“Loyalty” features romantic, hypnotic soundscapes over a chilled RnBbeat and gorgeous jazz-dipped sax – combining the old school and the new school with delight and spontaneity.
