Elise Lieberth is "Invincible"
Colorado mom, entrepreneur and musician Elise Lieberth is a survivor. Behind the beautiful lilting voice, there lies a dark past that she rose above, transforming into a fighter with big dreams. Lieberth first emerged onto the music scene over a decade ago, steadily amassing over 9 million streams on Spotify and 25K YouTube subscribers. Her underlying pain and strong emotions come through in her soulful vocals on cover songs by other powerful pop singers, including Christina Aguilera, Kelly Clarkson, Bonnie Tyler, Sam Smith and Mary Lambert. Today, Lieberth released her third album of original music, Invincible, in January 2020 available exclusively on her website www.eliselieberth.com.
Having developed a love for singing and performing at a very young age, Lieberth knew that music would be her lifelong passion. However, it was music that also carried her through some of the darkest periods of her life. She grew up in a dysfunctional household, enduring years of physical and emotional abuse as a child and teenager. Her father suffered from bi-polar disorder and alcoholism. She later became a teen mom, married young and quickly divorced, left as a single mom of two young children.
Determined to never let her circumstances break her spirit, Lieberth poured her pain, fears and anger into her music. Blessed with her vocal abilities, she forged ahead with her music, singing in various bands. In 2009, she met a local musician named Tyler Ward, who ended up co-writing and producing her first album, Letters From Elise, that she released in May 2010.
Since then, she released five more albums, that included a mix of cover songs, holiday songs and her original songs. She eventually took a break between 2013-2018 to focus on her family. Meanwhile, her songs continued to garner millions of streams on Spotify. In addition, one of her cover songs, “According to You,” was used in over 79,000 videos on the popular TikTok app. She realized this was a sign that she needed to create more music. In 2018, she co-wrote 6 songs with her friend, local musician and actress Rachel James, who wrote two more songs that completed Lieberth’s new album, Invincible.
The Invincible album takes you on an emotional journey. From ending a relationship where the trust has been broken to surrendering, begging for forgiveness, realizing true beauty comes from within and finding true worth, doing better, falling in love, staying no matter what and coming out stronger in the end.
Today, Elise Lieberth remains standing stronger than ever. She wants her music to empower and inspire others to always strive to be better and follow their dreams. Her new album, Invincible, is the result of Lieberth continuing to follow hers.
