Emma Hoet: "les étoiles"
The airy, alternative electro-pop tunes of singer songwriter Emma Hoet are often recognizable for their innocent lyrics. Back in 2017, when she moved to London for her studies, Emma set out to write and sing for various producers. Her first single, "The One" with Stupead was played on French radios and gathered thousands of hundreds of streams. Then In 2018, the downtempo-piano song "U Got My Heart' in collaboration with Clément Leroux was an immediate success on streaming platforms - exceeding the 7 million streams, and being played five times a day on the radio in the US.
Ready to take on new challenges, Emma is now launching her solo project. Through disillusioned lyrics and a charming voice, Emma reveals her vision of the winter season with "hot chocolate" - the first release of the EP. It is in French that she decided to embark, keeping her UK influences with an english chorus. The title embodies a feeling that we have all experienced in the past: the nostalgia of rainy days.
After "arrogance bikini" with her funk & disco melodies released at the beginning of the summer, Emma Hoet is back with "les étoiles". Song adapted from a live session made for France TV Slash, this one is more melancholic. It evokes nostalgia for the end of summer and the sadness of having to leave a vacation love. Accompanied by a video clip "les étoiles", Emma also announced his EP planned for the end of November 2020.
