Acclaimed songwriter and producer Lemonade Shoelace has had anything but a standard start to his career.
But being trapped between his bedroom door and the ocean during the early stages of his career, opening for YUNGBLUD in Mexico and headlining stages in Texas during his single-digit performances and writing alongside iconic artists (Nightmares On Wax, Danny Lé Frombe) within a year of releasing his debut track has all been taken in the stride of the Irish polymath musicians and producer.
Inspired by the natural and synthetic, versed in the analogue and digital, Lemonade Shoelace is the meeting point of the physical and psychedelic artistic output of Irish Musician and creator Ruairí Richman.
Taking his original and production leads from Steve Lacy, Tame Impala, AIR, Alfie Templeman and Oscar Lang, Lemonande Shoelace is your tonic to the grey and your open-door invite into the future.

Following the critical darling singles "Soul Syndrome" and "THINK!", Lemonade Shoelace has tapped into his indie rock roots. The new single "Violet's Song" dropped on 20th June alongside a stunning new music video which captures the youth, humour and radiance of the new track, and will most certainly win the hearts of any feline lover who knows what it’s like to leave your darling cat outside for the first time.
Flush with the same sunshine indie as Tame Impala and rock roots as The Beatles, Lemonade Shoelace fulfils every cat owner's wish, giving a POV for our furry friends' first solo venture in the outside world. Based on the life and times of Violet The Cat, the track combines the bedrock of psychedelic and pop worlds that Lemonade Shoelace has made his own, and bolstered them with a widescreen, surround-sound indie rock.
