Inspired by artists such as Childish Gambino, Mac Miller and Glass Animals; André Graca aka Midnight Ambassador showcases a seamless blend of contemporary R&B, indie and pop, and despite his modest discography and DIY backing, has become a viral hit with close to half a million streams for his releases to date. 2019 through to 2020 has seen Midnight Ambassador continue to break barriers and evolve his sound, with the release of streaming hit-singles ‘Burned Down Cigarettes’, ‘Pleasure’, ‘All My Love’, ‘Mirror’, and now finally ‘Superstitions’ to mark the completion and release of ‘Fragile Igloo’, along with a brand new music video.
After years of practice in the Portuguese classical area, André found a passion for singing and song-writing during his time at university in the UK, continuously writing, producing and developing his unique sound with an innovative approach, and to date has achieved numerous streaming-hit releases receiving worldwide media acclaim and radio support, multiple lock-down live-streams, nationwide shows, and international festival appearances. Despite the worldwide pandemic and lack of live opportunities, 2020 has given Midnight Ambassador the space to reflect, focus, find-home, and finally come to release his EP and transition; Fragile Igloo.
