Paging Doctor Moon: "Lost My Body"
Up and coming alt indie band Paging Doctor Moon is an alt indie band with soulful & jazzy vocals from singer/songwriter Kirsten Heibert. She founded Paging Doctor Moon in Brooklyn in 2018 under a different band name. They gigged in NYC for two years, regularly hitting NYC indie-staples Rockwood Music Hall and Arlene’s Grocery. The band has just released their debut album, Lost My Body featuring singles ‘Lost My Body’ and ‘Haunted,’.
The 9 track album is a vulnerable and powerful exploration of destructive love and healing through the soulful, powerful vocals and lyrics of Kirsten Heibert. Heibert takes us through the vicissitudes of relationships through her layered vocal expression, ranging from soft moments of heartbreak to soulful moments of release and everything in between.
“Lost My Body is a collection of stories about trying to find love in all the wrong places. I wrote the songs over the course of a year while dating in New York City,” says Kirsten Heibert, founding member of Paging Doctor Moon. “The lyrics tell tales of toxic relationships, addiction, disassociation, and healing from within.”
Lost My Body was written and performed by Kirsten Heibert, produced, mixed, and mastered by Julian Giaimo, and features drums by Morgan Karabel and guitar by Michael Bunin.
