Psycho Weazel: "Les Garçons"

Psycho Weazel: "Les Garçons"

The story of Psycho Weazel is that of a musical thunderbolt between two sensitive guys. Two teenagers who discover themselves by comparing their playlists in summer camp and who decide to share their dreams. Since then they have come a long way. By dint of obstinacy and work, they manage to radiate from their studio nestled on the shore of Lake Neuchâtel with productions released on labels worldwide and by sharing, live or as DJ set, an elegant and exhilarating music at the best venues in the region and elsewhere.

The productions of the duo, whose elegance goes hand in hand with a certain sense of second degree, are conceived as the soundtrack of their vision of the successful evening: a warm moment spent on the dancefloor to dance and exchange with their friends of one evening or always. Resolutely hedonists and furiously attached to the club culture, they mix with finesse their pop and new-wave influences in sets that gather together while remaining sharp.

Sentimental anthem and musical satires. What could be better than to question oneself and to take a step back in a routine imposed by a scorned climate? This is the challenge that the Psycho Weazel has given itself by inviting Princess Daniel and Jean-mule, key members of the Lausanne rappers' collective "Nébuleuse", on their label. Through three electro-atypical tracks produced by Psycho Weazel, Princesse Daniel and Jean-Mule come to exorcise their feelings and their male experiences in a subtle, satirical, even zany way, all of which is sublimated by Armand's technique and suave voice, as well as by Sohan Wilson's virtuosity. In this project, themes such as soccer, cars and feelings of love come to camouflage themes such as egoism, mental charges and carelessness.
