Renee Maskin + SONOFDOV: Chansons De Lune

Chansons de lune is the latest effort from two New Jersey songwriting heavy-hitters, Renee Maskin and SONOFDOV (Dennis King) on Mint 400 Records.  Bringing together their imagery-laden song craft and textural sonic palettes, Chansons de lune chases themes of both the tangible and intangible. Our physical world and the meanings behind what we may experience.  This split EP is meant to be listened to together in one sitting as it moves from one sphere to the next. The split was recorded in 2023 and 2024, and features Joe Palmisano on pedal steel. The sounds is a Velvet Underground meets slowcore-Americana vibe.
