Ryan Curtis: "Pieces"
Ryan Curtis is an award winning Scottish singer/songwriter who moved to Los Angeles after signing his first publishing deal in 2015. He is now signed to Kobalt Music Group & OneHitAway. Since arriving in LA he has written and worked with the likes of Bazzi, Madison Beer, King Princess, Olivia O’Brien, Taemin, BabyFace, Jasmine V, Delta Goodrem, SKYE & more. Ryan is also heavily immersed in the Asia market and has had multiple #1 records across China, Japan and Korea. He loves to work in all genres and is thoroughly involved in the process focusing on vocal production, songwriting, mixing and engineering.
“Pieces” is Ryan’s first 2020 single about regaining control of a bad relationship. “You tried to make it work, you gave everything, but the person was so indecisive and unsure on how to love herself, It was impossible for me to love her.” This is a story about moving on and suffering from heartbreak but that person still tries to hang on and hit you up on the weekends, trying to pull you back into a vortex of negative thinking.
