Abakas: "Runaway"
Norwegian rock band Abakas has put a lot of work in the practice room since November 2018, and only when they fully developed the sound the band started playing gigs at different venues in Norway and got amazing responses from the crowd. Three men on stage sound like an orchestra. Studio work for their EP ´Marauders´ started in December 2019, and now they are officially releasing their music. Runaway is a single from ´Marauders´ EP that will be released in May 2020.
In their single ´Runaway` Abakas put together strong distorted tones taking you on a journey with a hero of all times - a burdened man who is escaping realities of life in hope to find the answer somewhere else. Someone who ends up with the same misery again and again as he can't run away from himself.
The band is very focused on developing concept music and creating a whole universe with its own characters and stories, also connecting with their fans through visual art that is planned to be used a lot for the band image in the future.
