Carla Lina: "Life Is LIke A Movie"
Carla Lina is a multi-faceted and unique musician for whom the saying "herself is the woman" is absolutely true. Her relentless drive and focus has made her an unstoppable musician in the independent scene. Born and raised in Augsburg Carla Lina knew at the tender age of 10 that she wanted to be a singer. Singing lessons, choir memberships and children's operas followed. But that wasn't enough; for her it was clear: independence and her own songwriting came first! To expand her initial producing skills, the girl from Augsburg went to the "Point Blank Music School" in London for a year and finally chose Berlin, the city of musicians, as her adopted home to gain even more experience.
The passionate musician has invested a lot of time, love and sleepless nights to pursue her dream of a music career. Often she was torn between two worlds: between the socially more accepted way of life with her studies in business administration and her real passion, the music, for which she sacrificed every possible free minute. Now, finished with her Business Administration Master, which she had completed at the Humboldt University in Berlin (the Bachelor in her home town at the University of Augsburg), nothing shall stand between her and her music! In her music Carla Lina processes her own experiences and adventures and wants to motivate and inspire others with her authentic, English-language lyrics.
To be able to simply put life on "pause" - that's what Carla Lina would have wished for at many a moment: "Life just rushes past you so fast; it feels like every year it goes a little faster; like in a movie that you can neither rewind nor stop." In her debut single, "Life is like a Movie" (Nov. 26, 2021), she describes this sense of fast-paced life while appealing to finally become the main actor in your own life. You can become who you want to be if you just accept what makes you tick and believe in your goals. All changes start in your own head: "Don't leave your life to fate, fight for it yourself!" - that is the motto of the ambitious artist.
One thing is certain: All the investments in yourself have paid off! "Life is like a Movie" is an absolute earworm due to the fresh pop-electro sounds and her powerful, distinctive voice, whose lyrics most can probably identify with. Carla Lina delivers more than a good song with her debut: she refreshes with an exciting banger with an international vibe that will resonate for many nights to come! The debut single, which was mixed and mastered by DJ & producer WaveWave (Robin Schulz among others), was released on 26.11.2021 on all platforms and is an absolute must-hear for fans of modern pop music with a statement voice!
