n.e.r.d. life by D’Vo is a soul rapper and singer from Houston Texas. He created a Christian Hip Hop Series called the Codex, with the first release was 12/22/2019, and the second release 04/11/2020.
His newest release, Swagger From My Father is from the second volume, The Codex: Running the Point. Swagger From My Father is ‘Bop". The definition of a Bop, is dance to pop music and this song is just that while still honoring our Heavenly Father. The song is about enjoying life, but understanding that God is our creator and living with Christ in our heart is part of truly being Woke. With all the things people go through, relationships, heartbreak, understanding that feeling of confidence, that vibe or swagger feeling you get is actually from your Heavenly Father.
The lyrics were written and executively produced by D’Vo, as well as the entire Codex Series, Volume I & II, released under Element 11.
