Field Trip to the Moon: "EP"
Field Trip to the Moon releases a powerful and raw self-titled EP which was recorded live on a mix of tape and digital. The 4 track EP features crunching riffs, catchy melodic elements, raw instrumentation, and grasping vocals by singer/songwriter Angela Christofilou. From the rebellious “62 Bullets” to “Prick” which deals with themes of domestic abuse and violence against women, to the motivating and eclectic “Burn This Ghost,” ending with indie jazz track “Girls Wait”.
The first track “62 Bullets” has also been supported by BBC Introducing and Tom Robinson/ BBC 6 Radio.
Field Trip to the Moon is the musical project of Manchester native singer-songwriter, photographer, and actress Angela Christofilou. Based in London, the band self-released their first album ‘Something Owed’ in 2017. The self-titled 4 track EP, featuring new songs recorded live is due for release on 1st Sept 2020. Track ‘YOU’ from the album and ’62 Bullets’ from the EP have been supported by BBC Introducing and BBC Radio 6/ Tom Robinson. A music video for ‘YOU’ was directed by Steve Barron (the director behind many 80s music videos such as A-ha ‘Take on Me’ and Dire Straits ‘Money for Nothing)
