Yuna Hawks: Partners in Crime
Founded in 2021, Swiss-based Yuna Hawks is a band influenced by different musical currents, the result of this fusion is evocative and engaging dream-rock exhibited in their just released debut single “Partners in Crime”.
The band consists of four members: Shalon Camastra (vocals and bass), Armando Ferrazzo (guitar and second vocals), George Gaspard (guitar) and Timothy Van der Gen (drums). Each brought their own prior experiences and musical influences to the project; the musical background consists of different genres: 90s grunge, blues rock, folk-country, alternative rock, reggae and funky. Armando, George and Timothy have been playing together for many years and now with the arrival of Shalon, a new musical identity was established and is still developing, it therefore combines the above genres and is being refined as time goes by.
The Yuna Hawks EP, which is their first studio album, will be released later this month with the collaboration of Safe Port Production.
