Swiss band Yuna Hawks has just dropped the new single Don't Call Me Señorita under the label Safe Port Production. The song anticipates the release of the next album So Far, So Close, expected for 2025. The song expresses the stylistic evolution of the band and is an explosive blend of modern sounds ranging from alternative to garage rock and pop punk. Unlike the previous works, this piece, through the gracious voice, the pressing rhythms of the guitars and the distorted drums, touches the theme of feminism in a direct and sharp way, sometimes playful, but always effective.

With this song, the band aims to win the hearts of indie-rock lovers and reach even the youngest listeners thanks to an engaging rhythm and a profound message.

"With Don't Call Me Señorita, we wanted to convey a direct and uncompromising message to bring rock back to its most authentic essence," says singer Sara Shalon. "We have tried to unite different generations with this song: the theme of feminism, which is central to the youngest of my generation, must and can also reach previous generations.”
