Interview: Nelson Gomez
We had the pleasure of checking in with Nelson Gomez and he was kind enough to respond to a few interview questions.
You are such a talented artist! What inspires your work?
What inspires my work is everything that reminds all of us why we are here. Every story that guides us as a human race and shows us that we must enjoy the process of everything we put ourselves into. We must not wait to reach the goal in order to appreciate all that life has to offer on the way there. Let your journey inspire you.
Who pushes you to keep going?
Those who push me to keep going are definitely my family and friends. They have been incredibly supportive throughout all these amazing years with me. I love to include them in my projects for so many reasons; sometimes their own experiences in life are meant to be told, other times I can’t see myself experiencing new things around the world without them by my side.
With everything happening in the world, how do you want to contribute in a positive way with your work?
With everything happening in the world, I would want to contribute in a positive way with my work by providing opportunities to those who love telling stories and appreciate all of the beautiful things that life brings. Opportunities such as providing a space where our community could come together to share, develop ideas, and become the voices and faces that represent the value of life itself.
What are your goals personal and professional that you've set for yourself in 2021?
The personal and professional that I’ve set for myself in 2021 are definitely to travel much more than before in order to meet great people and remarkable places that bring with them stories meant to be shared with everyone, therefore slowly yet steadily make my presence in the American Film Industry, my full time job.
