Madame Z: Free to be Me
Not to say she’s a modern day Wonder Woman, in fact, Z is as human as they come. Adventurer, scholar, mother, multi-faceted creative, Madame Z has a work ethic that is unmatched by her peers. This go-getter attitude naturally bleeds into her musical endeavors. Throughout her life, music, theater, and art have always been pillars of her human experience; even when life pulled her further away than she desired. When she began expressing her musical side online as a way to connect and collaborate with other musicians…while on the go during her day to day life...things began falling into place rather quickly.
Never planning to record or release music, at the core, Z simply loves the process of writing and singing. But as she began sharing music online, requests started coming in to contribute to songs by other producers and songwriters. By allowing access to acapella recordings to select producers, the growth of her recoding catalog continues to thrive. Over time, the idea of releasing music commercially began to seem more practical. Soon enough, Z signed an agreement with Sacramento based Unlimited Sounds as a songwriter, producer and recording artist (under her own imprint JAT Productions).
Her latest single is entitled “Free to be Me” in a collaboration with Turbomaus and Mauro Scarsellone.
