Myriad: Getting Started

Myriad: Getting Started

After shaking up the south-coast guitar music scene with their sunlit track “Red Hoodie”, the Southampton quartet Myriad return to their roots with “Getting Started” released today.

Having received support from the likes of BBC Introducing, Voice FM, Indie Central, and Express FM for their first singles from their breakthrough EP, and festival slots lined up at Teddy Rocks, Ragfest, and one more big festival (still to be announced), the rising indie rockers are being tipped off by the industry as ones to watch.

"Getting Started” is about renewing with someone you’ve had a turbulent history with, and experiencing the honeymoon phase all over again, even though they have led you on in the past, and you know it’s probably not going to end well.

Dripping with indie tunes, with the newest leaving you singing “Yeah, we’re just getting started” on repeat, the indie 4-piece’s new single blends clean modern indie influences, such as Catfish and the Bottlemen, with classic 00s indie rock, reminiscent of Arctic Monkeys.

With a UK tour under their belt, and 2 sold-out shows in Southampton, the band are back with the “Move to LA” E.P in May 2024 (5 tracks), a confirmed festival run, and a UK-wide fan base who are eager to see the band at their upcoming shows.
