Welsh singer-songwriter Owen Weston releases his fourth solo single “Little Death Cassette”

‘Little Death Cassette’ is the fourth solo single from Welsh singer-songwriter Owen Weston. The song was originally demoed in the winter of 2019, before being finished 5 years later. This track lived as an instrumental track for this time period, with Weston never being able to write a melody that matched its vibe. Eventually, at the tail end of 2024, Weston revisited the track and found the lyrics and melody that were needed all along. With the exclusion of a short intro, ‘Little Death Cassette’ will be the first track on Weston’s upcoming debut album, ‘Everything’s Moving, Nothing’s Changing’. This stunning new song makes you feel as though you are taking a walk along the coast on a breezy Spring day, with its natural elements building as time progresses.
‘Little Death Cassette’ was written and recorded at Weston’s home, and then sent over to producer and friend Alef Matthews to mix. Matthews always adds a layer of brilliance to any mix and is an incredible producer.
