Pilar Vega’s new single and video „Middle Eastern,“ takes us on a musical journey to the heart of the desert. With its vibrant sound and lyrics, the song transports us to a faraway land where two lovers from different cultures come together and discover that, despite their differences, they have much in common. The music and imagery of the song, written and produced by Tatum Rush, create a rich and immersive experience that will leave you feeling like you‘re right there on the desert dunes, lost in the arms of an oriental love. Middle Eastern is an this exotic and moving adventure exploring the beauty and depth of human connection across cultural boundaries.
Pilar Vega is a talented Swiss R&B/Neo Soul singer of Caribbean origin. She grew up in Ticino and currently lives in Zurich, but people are starting to talk about her all over Switzerland as well as in Italy, France and Germany. Pilar won’t let you label her as just an R&B singer and songwriter because she is in constant need of extending her boundaries by collaborating with a wide range of talents and genres. In October 2021 Pilar released her first EP called Women which got played by BBC Radio, Global Soul Radio, SRF and Couleur 3. Last year we saw her collaborating with two Zurich based producers SENTO and Amos Joan and releasing more music. Although Pilar likes to experiment and play with different styles, each track is carried by her uniquely sensual voice and powerfully feminine lyrics.
