Pilar Vega releases video of "Glow"
Pilar Vega has just released the video for her new single “Glow”.
Glow is an extremely feminine song, which motivates women to glow for their own light and not letting others turn that light off. In the video, Pilar Vega exposed herself as vulnerable but strong at the same time, in a relationship with this careless man who doesn’t treat her how she deserves. The antagonist, appears in the videoclip as a spell on Pilar Vega. After putting all that energy to be loved by him, she breaks free from that spell and starts to glow by her own light.
Because of this empowering feminine charge, it was very important for Pilar Vega to involve other women in this creative process. After being mesmerized by the incredible floral compositions of her friend Jenni Tschugmell, she called her and told her she absolutely wanted to work with her for the next videoclip. During the summer she had the pleasure to meet David Beer, an emergent supermodel from Switzerland, during a night out. He had the perfect look to represent the snobbish and careless man Pilar Vega pictured herself for this video and he had the enthusiasm to do it with credibility.
Directors Björn Magnusson and Giordano Rush worked in tandem to capture the magic she wanted to bring to life in an intimate set, with no more than four people, which created a very cozy and familiar atmosphere during the shooting.
