RachelA: "Rise"
The world-renowned, Jake Shimabukuro, lends his extraordinary playing to Colorado's RachelA on her new song, Rise. At a time where fear, uncertainty and unkindness seems to plague social media and global conscience, Rise appeals to the goodness and beauty produced when a person chooses to do the right thing.
The inspiration comes from Rachel's own hard-learned lessons in life as a mother, song-writer and female producer. With over a decade of experience writing and producing for other creators like Elise Lieberth and FACE Vocal band, as well as gracing stages as big as Red Rocks and as small as the local pub, Rachel has weathered the music business roller coaster. The variety of experiences has created a wealth of music knowledge and a broad range of styles that Rachel feels comfortable in and showcases on her current releases.
Rise is an orchestral anthem. Meeting Jake Shimabukuro in 2019 and singing with him in 2020, Rachel realized how important it was for her to create something the two of them could be a part of. Jake is an inspirational player and nothing was more needed to complete the vision for Rise.
