RoSaWay: "Walk"
RoSaWay is a unique combination of flute and drums along with Rachel's soothing French voice perfectly binding their instruments together. Reminiscent of the 70's, RoSaWay combines vintage sounds with modern electro-pop beats.
Playing together for 5 years, they released their first video in 2017. Soon after that they are called to perform on stage.
Right after that they decided to go further and combine their two universes.
RoSaWay was born.
Bio:
Rachel Ombredane (Lead vocal+ Flute) :
Rachel has been awarded her Bachelors in flute, Diploma in music teaching and Masters in musicology at the Sorbonne. She also studied at vocal academy, and with her ambition to explore other musical genres found herself on TV sets singing with international artists such as Ed Sheeran, Jain, Brocken Back etc. and in prestigious venues such as the Zenith of Paris.
Stef Avellaneda (Drums + machines) :
Stef started his professional journey as part of the blues band Mercy, and it wasn’t long after that he was propelled onto the big stage alongside the Serbian guitarist Ana Popovic. He soon became her official drummer and has toured around the world and to over thirty countries. He has shared the stage with musicians such as Johny Lang, BB King, Keb Mo and Buddy Guy. He was voted as on of the TOP 5 blues drummer by the Drummies award 2015.
Stéphane also played with Jean-Baptiste Guégan (FR), Ben Poole (UK), Carlos Johnson (USA), Robyn Bennett (USA-FR), MontparnassE (FR), Marko Balland (FR)...
