Sikka Rymes: The VP of Gazanation
Javian Chambers aka Sikka Rymes a known protege of jailed dancehall star Vybz Kartel. He is dubbed the next biggest dancehall star. Javian was born July 29,1992 in Kingston,Jamaica and was raised in "Trench Town" home of the birth of reggae music. Sikka Rymes was raise by his parents along with his, brother and two sisters and then later to migrated to Portmore, St Catherine in the community of Waterford(Gaza) where which highly well know poplar dancehall artist Vybz Kartel is from. The love of music that Sikka Rymes was a driven sensation from a younger age. From he was a little boy growing up her had wanted to be a dancehall artist(DJ) due to the fact growing up in a highly musically influence area wherein which he was fascinated by sound systems and figure he must one day have something pertaining to do with music. Artist to be an influence to Sikka Rymes while growing up was Beenie man. Beenie man was an artist Sikka has been listening to from he the day he knows how to formulate words with understanding until the creation of "Vybz Kartel" better known as the "World Boss" who has came and had created a great musical influence on him along with Shawn Storm. In 2018, Sikka and Rottenbox Producer, Ray-Bandz teamed up for a project and ended up recording a few extra tracks. Love It by Sikka Rymes, is the first single from RottenBox’s Gulal riddim. The instrumental was created by Rottenbox’s lead producers, Cortellas and Ray-Bandz. It was originally a hip-hop instrumental and was converted to a dancehall riddim. Sikka Ryme’s originally wrote a song called Ride-on in 2018 for the hip-hop version of the instrumental, after hearing the new version he decided to redo the song to match his current sound in 2019.
Sikka Rymes and Vybz Kartel song Like I'm Superman produced by RedBoom is currently the number #1 song in Jamaica. The artist was gearing up to film a few music videos in December, but is currently in the hospital. On December 1st, he was shot 3 times while riding his bike home from a stage show in Kingston. He is recovering but because of his diabetes he says it will be a long a rough recovery.
