Silverlake: Exotic Metals Ltd

Silverlake plays indie and dance inspired art-pop. Emerging from post-punk and art-rock, with creative bonds forged in house, funk and techno clubbing, diverse strands run through the music. Silverlake is: Sally-Ann Parker – vocals; Robin Dallaway – guitar & keyboards; and Tony Sherrard – bass & programming

It’s a unique blend, drawing on influences as diverse as Human League, Led Zeppelin, Jungle, Massive Attack, Curved Air, Dream Wife, Roxy Music and George Clinton.

One night on our way home from a club, lights reflecting off the aftermath of a huge rainstorm made the road look like a big silver lake. And we liked the idea of finding some beauty on a West Midlands motorway.” - Silverlake
