SRJ: "Taste of Honey Honey"
SRJ is the artist name for electronic dance music producer Steven Richard Jones. After falling in love with this genre and the many sub-genres of this style of music when clubbing along to the likes of The Freemasons, Syke ‘n’ Sugastarr, Seamus Haji and Simmons and Christopher at the legendary Beyond club in London, SRJ just knew instinctively that he had to make use of his musical background (A’Level Music and Grade 8 piano) and started his own independent dance label SRJ Productions around eight years ago.
SRJ was privileged to work with global dance diva Katherine Ellis (www.katherineellis.co.uk) for their release ‘Taste of Honey Honey’ (https://open.spotify.com/album/0vDd3CpYw3VUaqJCGhX96w?si=Vw6igY5aSKS9fD092naNcQ) in April 2019, a joint collaboration taken from the Loopmasters Diva Acapella Pack. The vocals for this track are written, sung and produced by Katherine Ellis (© 2019 Songsiren Music Administered by BMG Rights Management (UK) Limited). The follow-up Electro-Funk Remix has a heavier but funkier feel to the original.
