We find Barrio Colette, a mixed and wild entity, in a shade of pink and red.
After a first single Façon Façon in 2020, then an EP - "Amour de vivre" - full of mini-hits like the unforgettable "Filles Garçons", it's finally time for the album.
And it does not miss anything. Raw and salty cocktail of rock'n'roll as we rarely come across in 2023, we swim in scarlet and rosacea and we meet the tormented spirits of Anissa and Noémie, going through intrusive ballads and old blows.
Always in the immediate, always with the sound of the guitars, sometimes fuzzed. Mischievous and touching texts, harmonies of gospel voices of the macadam. Energizing beats and trashy lace with lipstick from Douglas. But always with a smile on your face and a cigarette butt on top of your guitar.
By really believing in it, by having adopted urgency as a lifestyle, Barrio Colette come to dirty a little the waxed canvas on which the pop music comes to drink its Flat White with a heart drawn in the foam! A glass of red on the belt, a pompelmo juice for breakfast, but above all a tender love for song, violent drums and sharp guitars, Rouge Rose is the tale of spring.
"Souris Chérie" is the first single from the album "Rouge Rose" (Cheptel Records) to be released in March.
