The Describers: Ghost in the Rearview
The Describers’ new album Ghost In the Machine released last October, but it’s still fresh on our minds. Jason McGovern, the mind behind the project, has created a refreshing combo of roots rock and folk mixed with a synth-driven backdrop.
The overall sound of the album is innovative and thematically it’s introspective and thought-provoking. The lead single “Don’t Care To Think” touches on the concepts of “trying to ignore regrets and the multiverse of what-ifs”.
The thoughtful approach to the compositions, both musically and lyrically, make Ghost In the Machine a stimulating listen from top to bottom.
