Gothenburg, Sweden electro-pop originators, Laptop Singers, have reminded us of the matchless meaning attached to affection with their soft soul single, Are You Ready for Love? featuring vocalist, Roger Arvidson.
The self-produced single, which carries catchy classic pop tones with the rich synthetics of contemporary electronica, was crafted in a small studio just outside of Gothenburg.
Between the Spanish acoustic guitar notes, swooning horn stabs and tantalising keys Roger Arvidson had the perfect platform to lay down his timelessly honeyed vocal harmonies. Once again, Laptop Singers have broken the plastic pop mould.
Laptop Singers said: “Are You Ready for Love? is a soft pop/soul/electro song about the search for the things that really matter in life.”
Laptop Singers is a brother duo consisting of Lars and Per Andersson, who have played together in Swedish pop bands for the last 30 years.
The project began in 2019 with the motivation to create high-quality classic pop with an electronic and modern touch. From their studio outside Gothenburg, Sweden, they have released two albums and six singles since 2019.
