operazioni: An Introduction
operazioni: An Introduction
What would it sound like if Mother Nature whispered melodies? The debut single and video from sound sculptor operazioni offers one possible answer to that question. Fittingly titled «An Introduction», it serves as a prelude to the concept album REvolution, which portrays the dynamics of human life on planet Earth. Blending classical music, prog rock, and folk, this piece is a promise to nature. And with references to Queen, Henry Mancini, and Kate Bush, it heralds the start of a truly awakening sonic journey. Viva la vita, viva operazioni!
Behind operazioni is Swiss-based Corinne Isabelle Rinaldis, actress, visual artist, and musician. The Italo-Swiss feels home all around the world. With REvolution, she presents her first album, created mostly in a forest cabin and by the sea. Under her direction, around ten other musicians contributed to this genre-fluid opera, which Rinaldis says could easily serve as a soundtrack at CERN and should be experienced in one sitting. REvolution will be released on 16.05.2025.
