Abandon the Fall: "In Bloom"
Abandon the Fall is an instrumental group that has been putting out some compelling new music in 2021. Their newest EP, In Bloom, is another testament to their thoughtfulness in composition. The 4 track collection moves nicely from song to song, covering a range of emotions and feels. The guitar-driven songs are melodically mature, while at the same time remaining relatable to the listener. They describe their music as being “Honest throughout, vulnerable at times, a balance of empowerment and weakness . . . the human experience in sound.” In Bloom is the second EP from the group this year, following their previous release, Infinite Seasons. When asked about the songs, the man behind the curtain—Juan Espinoza—said that "Each song was crafted with a batch of soul”. And you can hear that through the sonic tapestry of each piece.
