Bauchamp: Foolish Touch feat. Pilar Vega
Bauchamp has just dropped his new single and video “Foolish Touch” featuring Pilar Vega, a baroque ode to the mysteries of romance, to the inaccessible intimate secrets of our partners in love. Out of sight, out of mind, folly is the missing key. Written while on tour, “Foolish Touch” pays tribute to this vital imperfection, secret pathway to passion.
Be reckless, naive, absurd... that's what makes you YOU...
Born Leo Ramsey, Bauchamp grew up in the sub tropical countryside of Rwanda, a small and green country of central Africa. Back in Switzerland, he excelled in mathematics in school without working and he finally majored in history of arts. First Leo Ramsey went into film acting for the money, though playing music was always his true love. He began with experimental collage music, fascinated by electronics pioneers and the lo-fi indie scene and then he went into dance music, candidly discovering raves and club culture.
After several years of searching and experiments, from serial repetitive percussion pieces to cut up techno funk, from noise electro-acoustic explorations to electrobooty, Bauchamp started to perform lives in glamorous clubs and underground parties. He has also released tracks on various labels such as Argent Sale, Mental Groove, Viking Music or Electric Heroes Records and has collaborated with artists such as Round Table Knights, Larytta and Tatum Rush.
Pilar Vega is a talented Swiss R&B/Neo Soul singer of Caribbean origin. She grew up in Ticino and currently lives in Zurich, but people are starting to talk about her all over Switzerland as well as in Italy, France and Germany. Pilar won’t let you label her as just an R&B singer and songwriter because she is in constant need of extending her boundaries by collaborating with a wide range of talents and genres. Pilar released recently her first EP called Women which has received extensive airplay by BBC Radio, Global Soul Radio and Couleur 3.
